My husband and I stayed here recently for 3 days as part of our honeymoon. Having both travelled lots (for both work and leisure) we can honestly say that Niyagama House is the BEST place that either of us have ever stayed.

Everything was perfect. The staff were super attentive and always made sure we wanted for nothing but without being at all pushy. The room we stayed in (Tourmaline) was luxurious with a beautiful view of the tea plantation and surrounding area. The pool was great too, so relaxing and in such a great spot. We even spotted some monkeys in the nearby trees whilst we were chilling in the pool.

In terms of the yoga, both of us were very new to it but thought we'd give it a try and we definitely didn't regret it. We loved the first session so much we signed up to the 3 day package and also booked an extra afternoon session. We never thought we'd be up at 6.30 exercising on our honeymoon but Elke made it so enjoyable, we couldn't get enough of it! The view from the yoga room was breathtaking also.

In addition to the above, we also took part in the cooking session in which we made four curries which we then ate for our tea. These were super tasty and something we will be replicating back home for sure. The spa was also great. We both had a full body massage and both came out feeling so relaxed and rejuvenated. There is so much more we can say about Niyagama House, however we'll summarise it by saying it is paradise!! We really did not want to leave. A must for anyone visiting Sri Lanka.
